Kids, get ‘Amped’ to race Arenacross

Kids, get ‘Amped’ to race Arenacross

The Arenacross World Tour is pleased to announce ‘the Amped Race to Manchester’ in conjunction with Dualways, the U.K distributor for ‘Amped’ electric bikes, ‘10Ten’ pit bikes.

With Arenacross growing into a World Tour for 2025 with the championship finale at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and the continuation of the ACU British Arenacross championship taking the sport to major cities in the U.K more and more eyes are on the sport of off-road motorcycling and both Arenacross and Dualways are keen to encourage the next generation of dirt bike riders into the sport.

So, an initiative to stage a balance bike race for kids, racing Amped children’s balance bikes, has been put in place for the ACU British Arenacross finale at Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday 22nd February.

Throughout the duration of the tour young wannabe AX stars between five and six years of age, with the obvious help of their parents, simply have to post up videos of them riding their balance bikes and being as entertaining as possible and send them to the Arenacross World Tour’s Facebook and Instagram pages as a private message titled ‘Amped Road to Manchester’, as well as post the videos up on their own social media where possible along with the hashtags; @ampedbikes @dualwaysonline @arenacrossworldtour

The AX and Dualways team will then pick 10 lucky winners who will be invited to the U.K finale at Manchester to race in front of a packed-out arena and share the experience with their heroes, whilst being mini heroes themselves! All ten riders will be supplied with personalised race kit that they get to keep, and all will receive an ‘Arenacross Amped award’ with the top three in the race having their podium moment just like the pro racers. The winner of the ‘Amped race to Manchester’ will win a brand new 10Ten MXE-RS electric bike. Something Henry Maplethorpe from Dualways is proud to deliver on, saying;

“As a brand, Amped bikes was started to help to bring more kids into the sport from a young age. We are delighted to be teaming up with the AX world tour to showcase what the Amped brand is all about…getting kids on dirt bikes! Then hopefully for a lifetime ahead. That’s why we decided to offer up the 10Ten MXE-RS electric bike to winner so they can evolve onto a dirt bike with suspension and take it to the next level of enjoyment.”

Arenacross owner and promoter Matt Bates, a former youth and professional motocross racer himself, also understands the importance of getting the next generation of off-road motorcyclists into the sport and the electric bike movement within the industry.

“Arenacross is all about giving every young fan the chance to become a future racing star” says Matt, “And this is a shining example of how working with the right partners brings these opportunities to life. A huge thanks to the team at Dualways for making this happen – and I can’t wait to see the youngest-ever Arenacross racer crowned at the AO Arena, Manchester in February.”

In typical Arenacross style, it’s not just the kids who get selected to race who can win. At every stop of the tour in the U.K anyone who buys official Arenacross merch and clothing will be entered into the draw to win an Amped balance bike right there and then that evening and will be presented the bike by one of the Arenacross pro racers. So, if you make it out to a round of the Arenacross World Tour, don’t forget to visit the official merchandise stand to be in it to win it. You may just make your night even more special for your children.
