Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team’s Jonny Walker secured his second podium finish of the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship by taking third overall at round two in Germany. With a second-place finish in the Superpole and in two of the three finals, Walker earned his spot on the podium, solidifying his position in third in the championship standings after two rounds.
Immediately feeling comfortable on the track in Riesa, Walker clocked a series of top-three times in each of the afternoon’s practice and qualifying sessions. Carrying the positive momentum into Superpole, Jonny put in an impressive lap to place second and claim two valuable championship points.
Capitalising on his favourable start position for race one, Walker exited the first corner in second place, hot on the heels of rival Billy Bolt. The Triumph TF 250 racer was in the fight for the lead throughout the race and put in a faultless ride to secure second place, nearly 30 seconds clear of third.
Race two’s reverse grid didn’t stop Jonny from dominating at the start, as the Brit quickly made his way up to second place by the end of the opening lap. However, an unfortunate crash on lap two caused significant damage to Walker’s handlebars which he was unable to fix himself track-side, forcing him to withdraw from the second race.

Fired up for the final race of the evening, Jonny stormed out of the gate to take the holeshot and immediately began building his lead. Walker had his sights set on victory and fiercely defended the top spot for the majority of the race, remaining focused on the technical course. On the final lap, a mistake from Jonny on the rock garden allowed Billy Bolt to pass, forcing Walker to settle for second place in race three.
Jonny’s resilient performance was enough to ensure his spot on the third step of the overall podium, equalling his performance at round one of the indoor season just three weeks prior. The Triumph Factory Racing rider maintained his position in third overall in the championship standings after two rounds, with the BTarena in Cluj, Romania, set to host round three on January 18th.
Jonny Walker: “I felt good tonight and I had good pace for sure. To go from such a strong start to the evening to then DNF isn’t ideal, but to then finish second after all of that, I’m really happy with how I bounced back. In race two, I grabbed a handful of front brake and tucked the front and that was all it took to twist the bike beyond what I could repair myself. I had fun tonight, the crowd in Germany is always amazing and it’s definitely one of my favourite places to race. The plan is to head home, recover and come back stronger for the next round in two weeks’ time.”
