Jett Gardiner travelled with the Team GB squad and brother Freddie to take part in the 2022 Coupe De L’Avenir support race.

This provided him with a great opportunity to learn this iconic track with the hopes of being selected for the team in 2023.

The two-race format saw Jett achieve two Holeshots, but with an unfortunate first-lap crash attempting the big step up! A big off, but Jett eventually remounted to finish p15. Battered and bruised, Jett regrouped for race 2 with another holeshot! He battled within the top 3 the whole race taking the win at the chequered flag!

The support races are open to riders who look to gain more experience racing on the international scene and are a great way to show the Team GB management that you have the dedication and determination it takes to succeed on the bigger stage.

Well done Jett!
