Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Farleigh Castle Vets MX 2024 on September 14th and 15th at the historic Somerset circuit! This event promises to attract an impressive lineup of past and present riders, and one name, or, should we say, voice, you’ll recognise is Jeff Perrett.
Jeff Perrett, or Jeffro, as he is affectionately known, has been a prominent figure in the motocross world since he began racing in 1981. With a solid youth career on Yamaha and KTM, he initially made waves in the 85cc class before returning as an adult to compete in the 250 class from 1995-2000. Throughout his career, he was a regular qualifier at the MXGPs and a fierce contender in the British Championship’s MX1 class.
A true privateer at heart, Perrett has ridden every manufacturer over the years. His journey in the sport has also led him into the media realm, starting with a column in MX UK that evolved into the DBR column. These days, he is the voice of Arenacross, DirtWorld-TV, and co-host of the Torq Moto podcast. Over the years he has been a test rider and involved with the British GP and RTT Team.
At the upcoming Farleigh Castle Vets MX event, Perrett is eager to improve on his previous experiences and is determined to start on the front row this time around. Farleigh Castle holds a special place in his heart, ranking among his top five tracks. As he puts it, “There’s no better place to be than this historic venue, nestled by the river in British summertime. Does it get any better than this?”
Perrett will take to the line on a stolen brand Yamaha (the one Todd Kellett is riding at VMXdN), and you won’t want to miss seeing him in action!
Grab your tickets now for a fantastic weekend of epic evo racing on September 14th and 15th. It’s the only UK motocross event where 60 two-strokes will be on the line.
