Jane Daniels, now three time World Enduro Champion is one of the best riders Britain has to offer. Competing at the peak of Enduro racing, she has just helped team GB win the 2022 ISDE 6 day World Championship. Now competing at this year’s Weston Beach Race, she will be a great addition to this year’s race for any rider to watch or race against.

At last year’s event, Jane placed 98th in the Adult Solo class. Her previous experience at the Beach Race will play a massive part towards her performance this year and hopefully she can place even higher in the rankings.

The deceiving 7-kilometre track will be an interesting challenge when compared to her ISDE experience. In return, having a rider with this amount of high level enduro experience will bring a whole new perspective on this year’s Weston Beach Race.

Ahead of the event she stated.

“I’m a little unprepared if I’m honest, the last Beach Race I did was Weston last year but I’ve been racing a lot so I at least hope my fitness will be there, as my sand riding skills probably won’t be.

I haven’t had much time to prepare for Weston in itself. My final enduro is the weekend before so I won’t be able to focus on sand riding much before the event, but I have raced a lot this year, so I am confident that I’ll be able to get through the 3 hours.

For newcomers I would say to pace yourself and enjoy the experience. Weston is a unique, demanding race and crossing the finish line is always the first goal!

It was really good to represent team GB at the ISDE, we had a great week racing and come home on top! I’m excited for the beach race, I think it will be my last race of the year!

Anyone thinking of doing Weston should definitely give it a try, going down that start straight isn’t something you can simulate anywhere else and it’s such a buzz!”

We wish Jane all the luck in this years race, she will also be available over the weekend for rider signings at the Factory Image Racing stand. Keep an eye on social media for more information.
