The NETT MX club hosted the second round of the ACU British Sidecarcross championships of 2021 at Fatcat moto parc near Doncaster.
Unfortunately, due to issues with injuries there were a few teams missing, most noticeably drivers Brett Wilkinson, Paul Pelling and Gary Moulds who are all taking time out to recover.

This week it really was the battle of the Browns. Jake Brown / Joe Millard took two wins with Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain taking one win but holding the championship lead.
The first race started with drama for the current champions Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain when the bike would not start as they were going to the line and needed a push to jump it into life. That did not stop them blasting onto the lead on bend one leading the first half of the race, but from behind Jake Brown / Joe Millard were determined to have a successful day and worked hard to find good faster lines on a very difficult sandy track, they finally got the traction they were looking for and blasted ahead. They were chased throughout but held the advantage and a great win, Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain took a close second. Back in third Dan Foden / Nathan Cooper had a great start tucking in behind the leading teams and holding third throughout. There were many teams caught up in chaos on lap one when two team came together blocking the track and the only way round was over a massive berm, but they were soon on their way, with German driver Ijen Kops and his British passenger Paul Horton recovering well and fighting through to take a great fourth place, passing new pairing of Neil Campbell / Ross Graham in the final few laps. George Kinge / Ryan Henderson were just behind taking sixth.
In race two Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain took a second holeshot this time determined to hold the advantage, they pulled out a safe lead going on to take a win. Jake Brown / Joe Millard were just behind in second but this time the sandy track was starting to look rough and challenging was more difficult. Dan Foden / Nathan Cooper battled hard to hold third with George Kinge / Ryan Henderson working hard to find a way past, but it was Ijen Kops / Paul Horton who shot past them both to take that third place.
In the final race of the day the track conditions were difficult and tested the stamina of the riders, and the way the bikes were thrown about it tested the passengers to the max. The start line was depleted, with some passengers already damaged after the second race, and the teams that needed to travel had to rush off to catch their ferry. This time it was Dan Foden / Nathan Cooper who took the holeshot, with Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain following them and blasting ahead on the first lap. It was Jake Brown / Joe Millard who were the stars of the race, they were one of the last into bend one, but were on a charge passing the rivals one by one, and by lap two they were up into third place but continued to fight moving into second and closing on the and by the halfway point they took the lead, and a second win. Behind Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain were slowing in the difficult conditions, with passenger Josh determined not to stop however hard things were and took a brilliant second place. George Kinge / Ryan Henderson had their best race of the day in third with Dan Foden / Nathan Cooper a short way behind, and enough points to put them third in the championship. Sam Osbaldiston / Harley Lloyd took advantage of a great start and plenty of stamina to hold fifth ahead of Ross Bowers / Dan Phelps who ended a great day with enough points to lead the Experts Championship.
This leaves Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain leading the championship with 116, but Jake Brown / Joe Millard put their round one problems behind them and now hold second with 92, just two point behind are Dan Foden / Nathan Cooper on 90, and fourth George Kinge / Ryan Henderson with 85 points. Ross Bowers / Dan Phelps hold fifth and lead the Experts Championship which is contested as part of the main British championship races.
