2024 European Motocross Championships Round 2 - Central Zone

The second round of the 2024 European Motocross Championship – Central Europe zone, took place in Valkenswaard, together with the EMX Women’s European Championship, and it was a fantastic one for British racers.

Almost 100 riders raced over the weekend on the typical Dutch sand track, which is very technical and difficult for riders to interpret.

EMX85

After losing the podium in the previous round in the Netherlands, Hayden Statt (KTM) managed to take a double win ahead of home hero Kenzo Jaspers and Danish Bertram Thorius (Yamaha), who were second and third. Robbie Daly also rode fantastic finishing fifth overall.

EMX65

Arriving in Valkenswaard as second in the standings, British rider Cohen Jagieski (GasGas) won both heats, thus taking the lead in the general classification of the EMX65 class. Another Brit Jett Gardiner finished seventh.
