Huge Pro prize purse revealed for 2024 Scottish Motocross Cup

The pro purse for next Saturday’s (17th August) Scottish Motocross Cup at Doune has been released.

The top 17 in the MX1 and MX2 championships, after five rounds, automatically qualify for this annual event, and Wildcards fill the remaining spots.

They compete in a two-moto MXoN-style combined race, giving the MX2 riders the chance to upset the odds.

There is a separate bonus cheque of £500 for the cup winner. This ensures that in the event of an MX2 winner, they would be able to walk away with the most money on the day.

Wildcard entries are accepted on Sunday the 11th (there are plenty of wildcard spaces are available atm)

The 2024 event also includes

Vets Cup (3 x trophies for +40, +50 and +60)
Youth Cup (combined 125cc and 250cc)
85cc Cup (combined SW and BW)
65c Cup
Auto 50cc cup
