Holcombe flies at Saintswell! 2024 Chicken Run Sprint Enduro

World Enduro Champion Steve Holcombe triumphed at yesterday’s Chicken Run Sprint Enduro at Saintswell at the weekend, which was also Round 2 of the 2024 Welsh Open Sprint Enduro Championship.

Holcombe fought off a star-studded entry in the Championship class, which included Alex Snow, who was just 6 seconds off of the World Champ in a strong second, and Jack Edmondson, who was third.

Ben Zeale rattled off some superb tests to take the victory in the Expert, while the Clubman win went the way of Dean Kiff.

Francesca Nocera won the Ladies’ category, and Justin Harcourt was the winner of the Sportsman category.

In the SuperVets 35+, Christopher Milliar was victorious, while Timothy Saunders took the win in the Vets Over 40’s.

On the other end of the age spectrum Ryan Jones claimed the Under 16 victory and Rees Jones stood on the top step of the podium in the Under 19’s.

The Sidecar win went the way of the Williams/Peters team.
