The MX1 class has served up some great racing this year with a good amount of riders still in contention and showing they have what it takes to be a title challenger. They will have to topple series leader James Hutchinson off of his mantle though and thats just what the next riders in the series standing’s like Andy Wilson, Jack Beniston, George Sim Mutch, Will Hughes, Ed Briscoe, Seb Berthiaume and the rejuvenated Glen Phillips will be looking to do.

Just 25 points separate the top 5 in MX2, with Jake Winnard leading the charge after the Fatcat and Duns rounds but Logan Wilcox, Alfie Calvert, Mitchell Meadows and Lee Sealey will all be looking to come out of Hawkstone with the series lead.

Josh Spinks has been beaten just once this season in the Open 2 Stroke class and that was by Ryan Mclean who sits fourth in the current standings. Mclean, James Dent and Rory Jones will be keen to stop the rot and close in on Spinks this weekend.

It’s super tight at the top in the 125’s, with series leader Harry Linton just two points clear of Chris Povey with Damon Strydom a further three points back. Also on the hunt are Round 1 winner Ryan Waggott and former Champ Troy Willerton.

Grace Richards leads the charge in the Ladies category but has Nadiya Jones, Grace Packman and Rebecca Newham snapping at her heels and hoping to reduce the deficit this weekend in Shropshire.

Can any one stop Ryan Voase that’s the question in the Vets Over 40 and seemingly has been the question over the last couple of years. Lee Martin and Danny Tollett will be at the front of the queue looking to snatch a win off of the Kawasaki rider this weekend.

Simon Bonser has rattled off six moto wins from eight in the Vets Over 50, but Richard Miller and Ady Bradley have both taken the chequers too and sit within striking distance of Bonser in the Championship standings.

A chip off the old block, Riley Voase sit’s on top of the tree in the Junior Open category and like his Dad Ryan he will have a number of riders looking to take over his mantle this weekend and they will include Dan Nevitt, Mitch Brooks, Ryan Lowes and Joe Winnard.
