Great day at Iron Hill for the Team GB ISDE fundraiser

Conditions were perfect for the ACU British ISDE Team fundraising practice/experience day at Iron Hill on 27th February. The sun was shining for the entry of Sportsmen/Beginners and they made the most of the fantastic conditions.

The course was in a prime condition following some late nights by Christian Fairclough, which was greatly appreciated by the organisers.

The event was supported by many including the ACU, SETRA MCC, Enduro Tyres, Michelin, Woods Butchers of Farnborough, and not forgetting the landowner Mr Patrick Wills.

The classic ‘Natterjack’ type of going awaited the riders so reports a plenty were soon coming in of ‘arm pump’ issues!

Their skills may need a little further developing but this will come for these enthusiastic riders and Team GB Manager Daryl Bolter was on hand to provide advice with Q&A sessions

Enduro Tyres attendance also gave the riders the opportunity to try the Rabaconda tyre changing equipment using Michelin tyres and mousses.

Positive comments were feedback at the end of the day with riders asking for when the next fundraising event would be.

This is at Knook near Warminster on the 13th March with entries now open on the ACU site for this 2nd fundraising practice day for Team GB.
