Farleigh Castle Vets MX stalwart Doug Dubach back for 2024!

Farleigh Castle Vets MX is thrilled to announce the return of long-time vet racing advocate Doug Dubach to the original UK Vets MX event, which takes place at the legendary circuit on September 14/15.

Dubach has done it all in motocross, from winning a Supercross main event as a factory Yamaha rider to being a privateer. He is also a long-time test rider, entrepreneur, world vet, and world four-stroke champion. He was heavily involved and influential in the development of the four-stroke, adding an extra dimension to his legendary status.

With 28 world vets’ titles to his name, it’s fair to say he has been pioneering the vet’s movement worldwide and has always been around the UK vet’s scene. For 2024, the MX industry icon is back at Farleigh Castle Vets MX. Affectionately known as “Dr D”, his legendary status and passion for the sport have made him a beloved figure among fans and fellow racers. He will be lining up in the Evo Ultra Open (up to 2008, over 50’s) class on a stolen brand Yamaha 2002 YZ 250 and in the Twinshock class on SPD developments Denton engineering 1979 red rocket.

Since its inception in 2009, the Farleigh Castle Vets MX Event has been an anticipated fixture on the UK motocross calendar for riders and fans across the UK and beyond. Held in September at the historic Somerset circuit, this event has always been a highlight of the year, bringing the sound of vets racing to life. With 60 two strokes on the line of every race and ten classes, there will be plenty of racing action across the weekend.

Advance online tickets are available now. The promoters strongly encourage everyone to book their tickets online. Doing so will speed up the entry process for riders and weekend campers when the gates open at 12 noon on Thursday, September 12th.
