This follows the announcement a couple of weeks back that the original host club, ASTRA, was not in a position to run the event.
The TRC indicated that they are meeting next week to decide when and where the event will take place. Although this does leave it very late in the day, the fact that the UK’s biggest event will be running will be superb news for the sport.
The full statement from the Track Racing Committee is below:
“The TRC have had some expressions of interest for the staging of the 2024 British Masters to which the commission are very grateful, and a meeting will be held next week to decide where and when the event will take place.:
“We thank everyone for their understanding and an announcement will be made as soon as possible following that meeting with full details of the much-anticipated 2024 British Masters Championship.”
