The event marks the second round of the 2025 Stebbings Car Superstore and Templant Hire Ltd ACU Eastern Motocross Championship, and is expected to draw a strong crowd, with over 200 riders set to compete across 15 races in both the Expert and Junior classes.

With the opening round already in the books at Wakes Colne earlier this month, attention now turns to Blaxhall, where the championship battle continues on one of the region’s most respected circuits.

Expert Championship leader Sam Nunn

Leading the Expert standings is current ACU Eastern Champion Sam Nunn, a British Championship competitor and long-time Woodbridge club member. He heads into round two ahead of Josh Peters, who impressed at Wakes Colne, and Max Broadbelt, a rider known for his pace around Blaxhall.

Former champions and local stars Luke Benstead and Shaun Southgate sit fourth and fifth in the points, but both will be keen to climb the rankings on home soil. They’ll face stiff competition from a deep field that includes Calum Mitchell, Ben Mustoe, Josh Vail and Harrison Greenough.

2024 Junior Champion Tim Warnes

Also taking to the track are familiar names such as Bayliss Utting, Liam Bennett, William Farrow, and Callum Murfitt, the latter returning after injury setbacks. Former Junior Champion Tim Warnes and rising rider Jae Jeffries will also be making their Expert class debuts.

The Junior category promises plenty of drama as well, with a staggering 160 riders competing across four groups. Alfie Gedders-Green currently leads the Junior standings following round one, ahead of Travis Bixby and Alex Christopher.
With a full day of bar-to-bar racing expected, spectators can look forward to a family-friendly event packed with energy and excitement.
