Dyfed Dirt Bike Club all set for 2024 ISDE!

With the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) starting tomorrow Monday the Dyfed Dirt Bike Club is the only UK club team represented that has made the 7000 mile journey to San Juan in Argentina this year; the team will be joining the ACU British Trophy and Vase teams along with the Ladies GB team representing the UK.

The DDBC team consist of 21-year-old Rhys Evans from NC Emlyn in West Wales, who competed last year in the ISDE and came home with a silver medal; he will be joined by Neil Hawker, who is no stranger to racing overseas with the third rider being Jack Probert from Mid Wales Probert has been in superb form this year in the Welsh Enduro Championship riding in the expert class, he has stepped in as a last-minute replacement after Simon Hewitt was forced to withdraw with back issues. Team Manager Meirion Scourfield, along with Cefin Evans, spanner man, and the tea ladies, will be hoping the team riders all finish the event and fly the flag proudly.

For the DDBC as well as representing the whole of Wales “ it’s a proud honour to be here in Argentina with this small team with huge talent,” Scourfield commentated from Argentina as the bikes went through scrutineering on Friday.
