Dragon on Double Tyn! British Quad XC Championship Round 4 & Sprint – Overview and Results

The Dragon Quad Racing Club embarked on a trip to the picturesque Tyn Twyll for a double helping of Quad XC with Saturday being a Sprint Enduro and Sunday being the fourth round of the 2021 British Quad XC Championship.

The sprint on Saturday took place over a shortened course approx 5.5km long the riders seemed to really enjoy the different format and got to chat to each other in between laps to see who was doing what! I think the real surprise for some was the speed of the youth riders with the fastest placing 15th overall!

Jamie Morgan took the overall win even with a crash on one of his runs ended with him upside down in a ditch!

Sunday was the usual format over the full 7 mile course, the threatened thunderstorms stayed away and we had dry sunny conditions. once again Jamie led the adult race from start to finish to take the overall. Charlie Wheatley won the Youth race and Luca Balsano rode a stormer to win the Mini Quad Race
