Dixon Racing Team sets sights on 2025 Arenacross title

Dixon Racing Team sets sights on 2025 Arenacross title

After a successful 2024 Arenacross series for Team Green, Kawasaki is excited to announce that it is returning for 2025 with an all-new two-rider team, Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki. Long-time partners of the brand, the team will be fielding two riders in British and World Arenacross Championships.

With the start of the 2025 Arenacross series just weeks away, Kawasaki is looking to build on its results from this year with an all-new team and rider lineup. Valued Kawasaki partners, Dixon Racing Team are one of the most experienced in the sport and will be gunning for another title across the British and World Arenacross Championships next year.

Utilising the proven Kawasaki KX450 machinery, DRT Kawasaki will be running Taylor Hammal in both the British and World Championship, which kicks off on January 4th at the BP Pulse Arena in Birmingham. A second rider will be joining Taylor for the World Championship rounds, who will be confirmed in due course.

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department:

“The Arenacross series continues to go from strength to strength and the addition of the World Championship element for 2025 only makes it even more exciting to be a part of! We have had a lot of success over the past few years, and we are keen to challenge for top honours again in 2025. Steve Dixon and his team have plenty of experience in this arena and with a strong rider line up, plus the awesome KX450 we are confident of repeating these successes when the gate drops in January next year!”

Steve Dixon:

“I’m looking forward to representing Kawasaki in the upcoming 2025 season with Taylor Hammal rejoining our team for 2025 on the Kawasaki KX450. I’m delighted to be able to give Taylor, who only lives locally a chance to represent DRT Kawasaki again after his last stint got cut short in the MX2 World Championship following a wrist injury.

It will be fun to give our sponsors a few nights out at some great locations and venues in what is always crazy tight racing and entertainment for the fans to enjoy in the off season.”
