Dirt Hub: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen to, and if so name a couple of tracks that are on it?
Sam: Any motivation music that will get me in the zone, but it changes regularly.
DH: When was the last time you cried?
Sam: I can’t remember.
DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?
Sam: If it’s not on Strava it didn’t happen ?
DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?
Sam: The only thing is that I do my knee braces and boots up in a particular order.
DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?
Sam: To be better than I was yesterday.
DH: If you didn’t race what sport would you play or take part in?
Sam: Probably cross-country Mountain biking
DH: What is your biggest Phobia?
Sam: Heights.
DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol and why?
Sam: Probably Ryan Dungey because of his work ethic and never give up attitude.
DH: Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Sam: Racing pro motocross
DH: What is your all-time favourite movie?
Sam: Probably The Hangover and my favourite series would be Shooter or Formula 1 Drive to survive.
DH: Who has had the biggest impact on your career?
Sam: Definitely my Mum and Dad for all they do for me.
DH: What is your philosophy on life?
Sam: Work hard, play hard.
