Dirt Hub: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen too, and if so, name a couple of tracks that are on it?

Lewis: Not so much, just like to keep myself to myself and a bit of quiet.

DH: When was the last time you cried?

Lewis: When we bought our little boy home from the hospital after being poorly when he was born.

DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Lewis: ‘It is what it is’ One of our family friends has it tattooed on his forearm, and when his workers moan, he just holds his forearm up for them to read.

DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?

Lewis: Drop a new helmet on the floor before using it and pee before the sighting lap and not after it.

DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?

Lewis: Even if it’s work or racing, it’s achieving results to make my family and myself proud of.

DH: If you didn’t race, what sport would you play or take part in?

Lewis: Golf or football, I enjoy getting out on the course; I just have to be stocked up on balls.

DH: What is your biggest Phobia?

Lewis: Probably heights. I had a skydive booked but bottled it. Or changing dirty nappies. ?

DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol, and why?

Lewis: In motorsport Jonathan Rea, his achievements and skill on any bike are unreal. In motocross, probably Zach Osborne, his determination and drive to do well is inspiring.

DH: Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Lewis: Still riding bikes for fun the best way to keep fit and socialise. But hopefully, with my development business going from strength to strength.

DH: What is your all-time favourite movie?

Lewis: Step brothers or Inbetweeners

DH: Who has had the biggest impact on your career?

Lewis: My mum and dad, for sure, they have always given me the opportunity to go racing and supported me through it all. And the teams and sponsors that have always supported my racing and helped out.

DH: What is your philosophy on life?

Lewis: You only get out what you put in
