Dirt Hub: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen too, and if so name a couple of tracks that are on it?

Josh: Dont really have a list it’s just whatever mood I’m in.

DH: When was the last time you cried?

Josh: I had a tear yesterday after seeing my stepdaughter after her operation in her ear. Felt so sad just wanted to take the pain from her.

DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Josh: Go hard or go home Mark Hucklebridge used to repeat it to me all the time.

DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?

Josh: I always put rights on before lefts. It’s a strange one!

DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?

Josh: You mean go to work? Haha after work its generally the want to win attitude that makes me train.

DH: If you didn’t race what sport would you play or take part in?

Josh: I would have a go at rugby or downhilling.

DH: What is your biggest Phobia?

Josh: After my Matterley crash I hate doubles/triples, I do find the courage to do them but I get so worried beforehand.

DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol and why?

Josh: Europe its Herlings just how he rides the bike is insane especially in the sand. USA its James Stewart also how he rode a bike and the scrubs/whips are just mindblowing.

DH: Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Josh: Probably leading my daughter around an arena on her horse haha! My bike will be sat in the garage.

DH: What is your all-time favourite movie?

Josh: I don’t really have an all-time favourite. I enjoy watching films so if its a good action film it will be on the list to watch

DH: Who has had the biggest impact on your career?

Josh: Definitely my parents. Without their efforts, I wouldn’t be where I am now. My wife and kids, they’ve stuck by me through the highs and lows. Huck without his words of wisdom I probably wouldn’t have won as many races. Also, all my sponsors past and present without them MX wouldn’t be affordable! I thank you all.

DH: What is your philosophy on life?

Josh: Live life to the full! No regrets.
