Dirt Hub: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen to, and if so, name a couple of tracks that are on it?
Jonny: No I don’t listen to music before I go out; I’m usually going through the track in my head
DH: When was the last time you cried?
Jonny: I honestly have no idea I can’t remember, my dad told me crying doesn’t solve anything
DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?
Jonny: Nobody cares, work harder.
DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?
Jonny: I used to but over the years I found having a good mind set is the best thing you can do
DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?
Jonny: I enjoy what I’m doing and enjoy getting up early. My daily schedule is always planned the night before so I’m excited to get up and do what I need to.
DH: If you didn’t race what sport would you play?
Jonny: I like any sport really, I usually run and cycle a lot. I never really play tennis but when I do I enjoy it so I would say that.
DH: What is your biggest Phobia?
Jonny: Heights I’m absolutely terrified of but I force myself to do thinks at height to scare myself
DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol and why?
Jonny: Tyson Fury he’s at the top and funny about it
DH: Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Jonny: Hopefully still racing and having a good time
DH: What is your all-time favourite movie?
Jonny: Dumb and Dumber
DH: Who has had the biggest impact on your career?
Jonny: My mates dad ‘sheriff’ taught us the ropes
DH: What is your philosophy on life?
Jonny: Ooo that’s a big one. My main goal is to just enjoy life, wherever it takes you. Enjoy everyday no matter what shitstorm you’re in.
