After a storming 2020 season Gabriel Insulation KTM’s John Adamson is the latest racer to answer our Dirty Dozen questions and here is how they came out…

Dirt Hub: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen too, and if so name a couple of tracks that are on it?
John: Don’t really listen to music before a race usually just a little team talk before we head to the waiting zone.
DH: When was the last time you cried?
John: After watching Marley and Me
DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?
John: The best things in life aren’t things
DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?
John: I have a warm-up routine to get comfortable in my kit before I go to the line.
DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?
John: The thought of letting people that help me down or not being prepared myself to go racing.
DH: If you didn’t race what sport would you play or take part in?
John: Tiddlywinks
DH: What is your biggest Phobia?
John: Failure
DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol and why?
John: Ken Roczen and to come back from the injuries he had and to win again takes a lot of mental strength.
DH: Where do you see yourself in five years time?
John: Hopefully still as part of Gabriel Motocross running up the front in Britain.
DH: What is your all-time favourite movie?
John: Good boys
DH: Who has had the biggest impact on your career?
John: Simon Gabriel. He saw something in me and gave me the opportunity to build on my skills and hone the skills I already had.
DH: What is your philosophy on life?
John: What’s for you won’t go past you.
