DH: Do you have a Pre-Race Playlist you listen to, and if so, name a couple of tracks that are on it?

Ashton: Before Super Enduro I’ll listen to a bit of 2pac or 50 cent

DH: When was the last time you cried?

Ashton: When I won the Super Enduro Junior championship

DH: What is your favourite inspirational quote?

Ashton: Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

DH: Do you have any weird suspicions or pre-race rituals?

Ashton: I don’t speak much before a race; I just zone out and concentrate on myself.

DH: What drives you most to get up in the morning and go training?

Ashton: The thought was that one day, it could be my job instead of working on the building site.

DH: If you didn’t race, what sport would you play or participate in?

Ashton: Probably basketball or something

DH: What is your biggest Phobia?

Ashton: Snakes

DH: Who is your biggest sporting idol and why?

Ashton: There are so many idols I look up to, from slopestyle riders to mx riders.
