Five-time World Champion David Knight MBE is entered as part of a three-person team riding in the International VMXdN race.

David will represent Team Isle of Man at the 2023 VMXdN Foxhill on the August Bank holiday weekend at the iconic Foxhill Grand Prix circuit in Wiltshire.

The team consists of

David Knight MBE onboard a KTM 300 with the number 101

Danny McCanney is riding a 250 Honda, number 102

Gavin Hunt will be on a KTM 300 with the number 103

The IOM Team is an excellent addition to an already stacked field. The event already looks bigger and better than the fantastic 2022 event, which many who attended say is the best event in the UK motocross calendar! Event promoters Dave King and Rob Walters are preparing for the event to be 50% bigger than the inaugural race.

Alongside news of riders we are flat out with plans for a new 70-acre car parking facility on the top side of the circuit to get the day spectators in cars off the road quickly. The new car park will ease any traffic entering and exiting the circuit and create more space within the paddock to park both the riders and weekend campers. In addition, we have a crew of specialist parking attendants to ensure we make the most of the area with the necessary access points.”

We have also reviewed the security and appointed a new firm consisting of ex-police and service members, who are all very respectful. Still, these guys dont take any messing about.”

There will be added infrastructure concerning toilets and bins and four times the volume in food and drink suppliers to handle the expected crowds. It’s going to be awesome.”
