It was the small wheeled 85s that got us on the way at around nine in the summer series. Toby Bond was the man to be in this class. In race one and two he played second fiddle to Marley Alder but managed to get the win in the last race. This meant that he could take first overall with his results of 2,2,1. Charlie Ward came in second after his results of 3,6,2. and the last spot on the box was taken by George Luker. He went 8,4,3.
The VMX hit the track next with Stevie Gessner leading the pack. He went 1,1,1 for first overall! Mark Morris looked like he was going to check out Race two, But a big crash meant that he had to dig deep just to make it back to the front. he grabbed second after he went 2,3,2. The final place in the top three went to Luke Lambert.
Liam Garland arrived on the Sunday to take a clean sweep in the MX2. He made easy work of the rough Culham circuit! He went 1,1,1. Luke Southern ran him close in all three Motos and clinched second place overall (2,3,2). It was a packed out group meaning that third overall could have gone to anybody. After three long hard races it was Brad Wheeler who took the last spot on the box. (3,4,3).
Nicky Watts looked strong in the MX1. Although his results were a mixed bag he was towards the front in every race. 7,2,1 was enough to bag him the win ! Ollie Ruddock brought out his 250 two stroke to have some fun. The young lad battled hard with the men in the class. he put his stamp on the group when he came in second overall (6,3,2). The steps were rounded off by Adam Hardy who went 8,7,3.
The Rookies were led by the fantastic Harrison Forde. He was in a league of his own And was lapping backmarkers after just three laps! He went 1,1,1 for a very impressive win. Joe Cracknell had a big crash in Race one, meaning that Tyler Kirby had an easy ride all day. Kirby still had to fight hard for second overall and pinched it with his results off 2,3,2. Sonny Shipton took home third overall.
Ronnie Crump led his way to victory in the auto class. His incredible riding left him with results off 1,1,1 which put him first overall!! He gave all spectators some great entertainment. He is definitely one to watch for the future. Lilly Senior came in second overall after her impressive results of 3,3,2. She has been upfront for the majority of the season and looks like she will stay there for the rest. Hendrix Prowse followed in third overall.
The 65cc class was the one to watch over the weekend. Arthur Pozzoli fought hard to secure third place overall. He did this by going 4,5,3. Elliot Shawyer completed all three races towards the front to gain second overall (3,2,2).
