Turn the clock back twelve months and Matt Chaplin was about to not only embark on another season racing in the AMCA Veterans Championship but also his first campaign as a team manager.

Having formed CPMX Racing, Matt then went out to find vital sponsorship from local and industry companies before naming his riders. The emphasis was clearly to put together a team which not only supported grass-root level competitors but also hopefully help them develop within the sport whilst experiencing the limelight that comes with being part of a setup which was prominent in the pit area of a major British Motocross Championship series.
Gaining some impressive results and a lot of knowledge along the way, Matt has decided to go for it again in 2023. Already gaining plenty of interest, three new sponsors have been added for this coming season. On the rider front, Harry Linton, Cameron Jackson, Joe Jordan, William Bryson and Joe Russell will all again be under the CPMX awning, joined by two new riders. Coming into the team are AMCA Championship regular Lee Truman and Hollie Roberts who was crowned the 2022 BWMA 85cc British Champion.
