The make up of the Pro classes is uncertain with riders being split between this and the 2 Stroke Festival in Kent, as well as quite a few riders heading over to race the EMX round in Lommel.
What we do know is that Steven Clarke is the Red plate holder in Pro MX1 and will be keen to keep his good run of form going. SC Sporthomes Husqvarna racer Evgeny Bobryshev has shown great form recently and could make the Masters as a title he would like to claim in 2023 being just 19 down on Clarke. The Tru7 Academy’s Callum Green sits in third and battling for the podium will do his confidence the world of good.
Callum Mitchell is the current top dog in Pro MX2 with Daniel Hutchinson with consistent scores in second. Travis Steels sits in third and will be keen to back up last weekend’s Acerbis Amateur Nationals win with another good result. Lewis Hall will certainly be a contender and could move into the podium spots with a good Culham weekend.
Amateur MX1 is always stacked and John Joe Wright sits on top of the championship with a slender 10 point lead over Max Lewis. The battle for third is where it’s hotting up with Simon Booth holding that berth but there is only 24 points between him and Jamie Dixon in eighth.
Duking it out for Amateur MX2 glory with Ben Clark on top by just two points over Henry Siddiqui with this fight for the top spot set to rage again this weekend.
Kane Fisher is five points clear of Richard Roberts in the Clubman with Colin McCluckie still within striking distance.
In the 125’s the young guns are leading the charge with Chester Hyde on top with a 17 lead on Beau Brown with Freddie Gardiner and Troy Willerton all ready to pounce.
Bayliss Utting has been on the box at all three rounds in MXY2 and by doing so has nothced up a 26 point advatange over Jak Taylor who in turn has gapped Kayde Rayns by 76 points.
In the Big Wheel 85’s Josh Vail has been unstoppable winning 12 motos from 12 so far, notching up a massive 86 point lead over Zane Stephens in second and a whopping 139 points over Maison Jones in third. Can anyone stop Vail this weekend?
Joel Winstanley-Dawson is another rider who has been dominant in 2023 and has 73 points in the Small Wheel 85’s over the number 2 rider Jenson Severn with Arthur Moore sitting in third.
Over in the Junior 65cc’s Harley Marczak and Casey Lister have been sharing the Moto wins but it is Marczak that leads the championship by 45 points.
