Conrad Mewse Update – Officially out of Arenacross 2024!

The injury toll from the Belfast Arenacross has now officially claimed former Championship leader Conrad Mewse, as his Crendon Tru7 Honda team have confirmed online.

The team has put out a video on social media of Conrad’s dominant performance on the Friday of the Belfast trip. Here is what they say:

“The glorious day at the Belfast Arenacross when Conrad Mewse won every race and the final to take the red plate. Sadly he’s now out of action with an ankle injury so will miss the remaining rounds of the series.”

Conrad Mewse now faces a battle to be ready for the defence of his two outdoor British titles this season.

Quite what this does for the reigning British MX1 Champion’s outdoor campaign remains to be seen, as the defence of his Motul Fastest 40 title starts at the end of March, and the Dirt Store British Championship begins at the end of April, so he has got a couple of months to recover.  Sadly, his entry at the Ashbrook Hawkstone International, the day after the final round of Arenacross at Wembley, is probably in doubt.

We wish Conrad all the best with his recovery and look forward to seeing him back out on track.
