Crendon Tru7 Honda’s Conrad Mewse has suffered damaged ligaments in his shoulder in a testing session, which explains his absence from today’s Arenacross World Tour opener in Birmingham.

The team posted the below on their social media, saying that he aims to be riding at the next round in Wembley.

“Conrad Mewse is sadly absent from tonight’s Arenacross World Tour opener after he damaged ligaments in his shoulder in testing in the run up to the event. He didn’t crash but had a heavy landing. He’s aiming to ride at the next round in Wembley.

“His team team mate Jamie Carpenter #184 JC184 is riding and testing hard prior to the outdoor season. He’ll make his race debut at the Hawkstone International MX on February 9.

“And it’s going to be some serious testing and development on the brand new Honda CRF250R for Jake Nicholls #45 as he gets the bike fully dialled for pro racing.”
