Junior rider Harry Croft smashed the Auto class win running on a shorter course with a lap tally of 9 laps. Newcomer Walter Dibb placed runner up on his KTM 50 auto. Harley Mudie had a right battle with Finn Cavanagh to snatch his first RAW Youth A win, both riders loved the round 7 battle. James Lindsey blasted to the Youth B win when Harry Walker pitted, meaning Lindsey could take a solid win.

One single adult race started at precisely 11am. Dawson Marriott has ridden Carlton Grange since his 65cc days, the lad from Mansfield took his JSM Gas Gas to a fine Expert win dealing with some quality Expert riders. The battle at the top of the Clubman class resumed with Scott Hipwell getting the better of Sam Lampkin by around 3 minutes at the flag. All top three Novice riders completed 11 laps, Nathan Handley ran out winner in that class with Championship hopeful Aaron Ward placing runner up.

With an Extra “New” traditional forest loop added for the adults, the sticks and stumps loop proved a tricky one to master. Andy Daniels is an old hand at old school enduro’s, he coped well by taking the Over 50 class win from Andrew Dean by just two minutes. Nick Barrow planted his right hand firmly on the Gas to take the Sportsman Vets class win and sets himself up for a real chance of the 2020 class win in a couple of week’s time. Once again the younger riders dominated the Sportsman class. Elliott Woodall took the class win, despite Bert Boam keeping him honest throughout the 2 hour race.

Onto the final round of the 2020 Championship, a BRAND NEW Enduro venue based near Thornton Le Dale awaits on October 17/18th weekend. Based around a stubble X theme, the racing should be fast and furious with plenty of class titles to be decided.

Thanks to all participants for keeping the club moving forward during these very restricted times.
