Chester KTM Young Gun Charlie Kelly moves into top 5 of UK Pro Flat Track Championships.

Entering the mid-point of the season 16 year old Charlie Kelly is positioned fifth in the DTRA Flat Track National Championship in his debut Pro season capturing the attention of all.

The former Youth Champion and Adult intermediate champion commenced the 2023 season as the No.1 Pro Rookie following his 2022 Championship win. This year’s Pro Class is one of most hotly contested seasons with three former Pro Champions already partaking over the first three events. Leading the Championship are the Birtwistle’s 1st and 2nd, Jack Bell 3rd, former Speedway Top Tier Rider Rob Mear in 4th with Kelly rounding up the top 5.


British Super Bike stars Neave twins have also made appearances with hot anticipation to see if Tim Neave will continue with the remainder of the season after taking the win at Round three Greenfields TT.

Charlie commented “Top 5 is the dream, entering into the mid-point of the season requires full focus and I’m hungry for that first Pro podium. Riding with the Pro’s requires your A game, these boys are so fast”. This year’s season will be competed over seven rounds with round four to be held at Mallory Park Bike Bonanza 15th and 16th July. There after its to South Wales Ammanford for rounds five and six before returning to Greenfields for the final round on the Oval.”
