Cas Valk retains Dutch Masters Red plate at Round 2 in Oldebroek

The Gabriel SS24KTM team and Cas Valk took to Oldebroek for Round two of the Dutch Masters which saw Cas with the red plate on his Gabriel SS24 KTM 250 SX-F.

In timed practice Cas set the quickest time out of both groups to head to the line with first gate pick. Unfortunately he didn’t get the best of starts but had good pace to comeback through the pack. He ended up closing in on third place but ran out of time and finished in 4th. Throughout the race however he started getting some back pain.

Negotiating the rutty, sandy track Cas was managing the back pain from Moto one and pushed through to finish the day off with another 4th place finish in moto 2. He finished the day 4th overall and heads into the final round retaining the red plate.

Luckily there is nothing serious with Cas’ back and he now looks forward to his MX2 wildcard debut at round 3 of the FIM World Championship in Sardinia.
