A stacked out full 40 of young Rookie riders were first to hit the track on Saturday. Some of the best riders in Britain showed their faces for some practice ahead of the British championship at Hawkstone Park which was the week to follow. Tye Jones smoked the whole field with a hat trick of wins on the day. He seemed to be a cut above his opposition and made light work of a deeply ripped Culham. The rest of the field had a battle for the podium positions. Alfie Payne took second with 7,5,2. Current series leader Tyler Kirby didn’t have it his own way but did still make the podium taking 3rd overall.

On Sunday, Tye Jones was again the top dog taking both moto wins and sealing the victory. A few riders backed out of day two which meant that Alfie Payne could keep Jones in sight. Payne went 2,2 for an impressive second place finish overall. Tyler Kirby again took the final spot on the box and a maximum score in the club standings.

In the MX1, Oliver Ruddock dominated the first two moto’s of the weekend. He gapped the rest of his competitors on his new CRF 450. Ruddock took the overall win. Travis Reynolds and Luke Southern had a battle to the finish in their motos. Both looked set for podium positions but it was a tussle to see who would finish 2nd and 3rd. Southern got the edge on Reynolds in the first moto, However Travis managed to clinch second overall after winning race 3. This meant that Southern had to settle with 3rd.

On Sunday, the lineup in the MX1 class changed drastically, with Travis Reynolds going home and both Southern and Ruddock outside of the top 3. It was Oakleaf Honda, Josh Taylor, who took the win on the day. The top three was tight, however, with Ben, Harrison and Seb Berthiaume taking the other two podium positions

Ricky Carter once again showed the MX2 class that he is a cut above his opposition. He was on fire going 1,1,1 for the win. The PW racing rider is proving that he is one of the top riders in the country at this current point. The battle for second place was on with Jack Milsted and Reece Saunders fighting it out. It was Milsted, however, who did come out successful with second, overall. Saunders had to settle for third place.

On day two Ricky Carter was still the fastest on the track. However, he decided to lay down on the ground and only manage 10th place in race one. He did, however, win Moto2. The crash did push him outside of the top three with Milsted taking the win. It was Connor Warren, who took the win in moto one, fourth place in the second race meant that he was second overall. Troy Hayward rounded out the top three.

The Vmx was led into the weekend by current championship leader Mark Morris senior, who was looking to add yet another full score to the board. He checked out race 1 and took an easy win. He looked to be doing the same in race 2 when disaster struck and a bike malfunction meant he had to coast to the finish. This would push him outside of the top 5 allowing Stevie Gesner to take advantage of the rare mishap. He rode the win home and put on a near perfect display of results of 2,1,1. The number 14 of Rory Wootton secured second place on the day.

On Day two, Morris was again the man to beat however Gesner kept him in close range. Morris took the win from moto 1, Morris and Gesner battled out in race 2 with Rory Wootton not far behind in the circuit. Morris took the early lead but Gesner fought hard to make a pass stick! Morris however did regain the lead but a red flag was shown due to a nasty crash. This meant that the race was pulled back a lap with the win being given to Gesner.

In the Big Wheel’s Charlie Richmond was dominant. A clean sweep of 111, he took top spot with ease. Zane Sibley Deakin was consistent in his results and did keep Richmond in sight. He went to 2,2,2 for second. Fabian Junior was there in the mix also, and results of 3,4,3, but he claimed the final step on the podium

As day two rolled around. Richmond was still the man to beat, and even though there were only 2 races, 1,1 claimed the aggregate win. The other two podium spots were claimed by the same riders of Sibley Deakin and Junior Morrison. A great display of talent from some of the best riders in the country.

It was the girl power of Olivia Reynolds which would take a hold of the small wheel 85 class. She was unbeatable going 1,1,1 for the win on Saturday. The rest of the top five were very impressive. With an honourable mention going to Bradlee Aspden and Ralphy-Jay Holloway who were very consistent within their results. The podium however, was rounded out by William Evans who went 222, and Spencer Newman who went 3,3,3.

On Sunday, the top three did have a mixup, but Olivia Reynolds was still on top. Results of 1,1 was what she needed to secure the win. Dexter Prowse returned the second day and fought hard to get on the second step. Third place went to Jake Dixon.

The U.K.’s number one rider in the 65cc class, Casey Lister, showed up to display his skills and take the win away from Arthur King. Lister went 1,1,1. King came in second after 2-2-2, with young Nixon Coppins just behind. All 3 riders just made the list on the youth GB team and it’s clear to see why.

Due to many incidents on the track racing was abandoned on day two, meaning that the 65 class only received one race. The top three remained the same with Casey Lister, taking the win in the Moto. Arthur King, second with Nixon Coppins third.

The 50cc class was amazing to watch yet again. They never failed to deliver and the young riders are getting better and better. Mason Foreman took the top spot on day one. An amazing display and effort from the young rider. William King was yet again on the box after an impressive day of riding. He went 2,2,2. Sam McEvoy was the final podium position.

On day two the 50cc class were also only granted 1 Moto due to the red flag incidents. William King came third in the race. This gave him third overall on aggregate. Second place was Archie Parry with Mason Foreman taking the win.
