You will often hear the word legend with regards to VMXdN Foxhill. It’s not that they overuse the term; it’s that VMXdN Foxhill is packed full of legends! Carl Nunn sits firmly in this category in the 90s/00s Motocross scene. As a GP winner Nunn lists Foxhill as one of his favourite circuits. When he raced the epic 2023 event, he really got into it, and there’s no holding him back in 2024.
Nunn’s career stats are very impressive. On five occasions, Nunn claimed top ten finishes in the FIM World Championship and took a Grand Prix win in France during the 2000 season. He is a two-time British Champion and has represented Team GB at the MXdN (now known as MXON) on five occasions. He is a three-time British Supercross champion and adds in a Red Bull Nationals number 1 plate just for good measure.
Nunn has been on some of the biggest teams in the paddock and has ridden for teams like CAT Honda, Cadbury’s Boost Yamaha, Factory Husqvarna, MJ Church Kawasaki, MVRD Suzuki, SR75 Suzuki and none other than the Factory Champ Red Bull KTM squad. His addition to the gate is an awesome bonus for the event.
Carl is always very personable and approachable in the pits, but things get serious when he puts his helmet on, and for 2024 he is entered into the Super Evo 125 class and will be racing a Yamaha YZ 125. Let’s hope it is in the livery of the Cadbury’s Boost Yamaha he raced in 1998, where he led the world in the double header at the famous Wiltshire Grand Prix circuit.
The promoters of VMXdN Foxhill are delighted to welcome Carl to VMXdN Foxhill 2024 and they look forward to him showing us all his pedigree.
Tickets for the four-day festival are available from https://vmxdnfoxhill2024.eventbrite.co.uk
Pre booking of tickets is highly recommended as the promoters have indicated that this year’s event is anticipated to sell out and be a ticket only event in 2024.
