British Masters Grasstrack Championship needs new host club to run in 2024!

British Masters Grasstrack Championship needs new host club to run in 2024!

The ACU has announced today that they are on the hunt for a club to run the biggest Grasstrack event in the UK the British Masters after proposed hosts the ASTRA Grasstrack club have informed them that they are not in the position to run the event as planned in September.

It will be a big blow for the sport if the event isn’t run in 2024 so we hope someone will step forward and take upon the mantle of this prestigious event.

The full statement from the ACU Track Racing Department is below:

“ASTRA Grasstrack Club have this afternoon informed the ACU Track Racing Commission that they are not in a position to host the ACU British Masters Grasstrack Championship as planned in September and have handed the event back to the ACU.

“The ACU Track Racing Commission would like to hear from any Track Racing organiser that would be in a position to help the commission by taking on the running of the event. It goes without saying that the Track Racing Commission will help and support any organiser as much as possible due to the very short timescale to plan a meeting of this nature.

“Any expressions of interest should be emailed to kirsty@acu.org.uk as soon as possible as the Commission will need to meet next week to consider options available.”
