British 65cc MX Champion Cohen Jagielski signs for J L Cox Motorsports

It’s been a fantastic year for the super talented British 65cc Motocross racer Cohen Jagielski, who has won the 2024 British Motocross Championship by winning every moto, the Weston Beach race, the Coupe de l’avenir, and more, and now as he moves onwards to the 85cc class, his year has gotten even better with the news that the newly formed J L Cox Motorsports team has signed him up for 2025.

The team, which will be making its debut in 2025 is backed by J L Cox Cranes Limited who are based in Oldbury in the West Midlands.

Team Owner Jack Cox said of the signing. “The team is beyond excited to have Cohen join us. With his amazing talent and sheer love for the sport itself, including his great family structure, it’s a brilliant match and an asset to our team. I have had my eye on Cohen for the past couple of years. Cohen has a great riding style, and his dedication and hard work are always 100%, which is always key to achieving success in motocross.

“I look forward to working with Cohen and taking him to his full potential.”

Cohen, who is just 11 years old, also won the EMX65cc round at Valkenswaard earlier in the year, said, “I am really excited about this opportunity Jack has given me. I am ready to start my next chapter, as it has always been my dream to ride at the highest level of motocross, and I am really excited to do this with such a great group of people around me. I am ready to have some great success together. A New brand, colours, and people have ignited my excitement further. I am officially ready for 2025. Let’s start racing.”

Cohen’s mum and dad, Kirsty and Daniel, added, “From a young age, we noticed Cohen had a natural talent and a major interest in the sport. It’s been tough and challenging at times, but we knew, as parents, we needed to pursue and do what we could, and we are 100% glad we did to see what he has achieved at such a young age.”

The team and Cohen plan to compete in the Dutch Masters, the EMX85 championship, the ACU British Youth Motocross Championship, and the Bridgestone British Masters in 2025. We look forward to seeing how Cohen progresses and keeping up with him and the team throughout 2025.
