ASA United Gas Gas young gun Bobby Bruce is set to miss this weekend’s penultimate round of the 2023 Revo ACU British Motocross Championship due to a wrist injury he picked up in Belgium.

Bruce currently sits second in the standings behind Swedish ace Isak Gifting, and even though it looks likely he will drop out of the podium positions he won’t drop any lower than fourth as he holds a 63 point lead over Charlie Cole in fifth, which means a strong final round could still see him on the box at the end of the championship.

Bobby’s full statement on his Instagram account said:

“Sometimes it feels like you can’t put a foot wrong then other times you can’t buy yourself any luck in this sport. Devastated to be posting, had a pretty naughty crash last week in Belgium and injured my wrist training for the Gp. Unfortunately won’t be lining up this weekend at the British. Will know more soon! Sorry to my team and sponsors especially after the promising last few weeks. I’ll be back.”

We wish Bobby a speedy recovery!
