Billy Whizz! 2020 British Extreme Enduro Championship Round 1 – Results & Highlights

Billy Bolt put in a masterful performance to win the first round of the 2020 ACU British Extreme Enduro Championships at wet and very challenging Parkwood Offroad Centre in Tong, West Yorkshire.

The Rockstar Husqvarna mounted racer rocketed away from the competition to win by over 6 minutes from reigning Champion Jonny Walker who was the only other rider to manage 8 laps. Polish legend Taddy Blazusiak finished third on eight laps with last weekends Valley Xtremes winner Paul Bolton on 7 laps in fourth.

Recent Trials convert Ricky Wiggins finished a stunning seventh overall, as well as being victorious in the Expert class. Ben Wibberley pulled off a fine second in the Expert category with AMCA MX star Shane Carless taking to the Extremes well with third.

Harold Crawford notched up six laps to take victory in the Elite Vets group ahead of Stephen Dixon and Gavin Johnstone.

Clubman Mitchell Brightmore was right in the mix on six laps taking his class win a full lap ahead of runner up Jordan Hayes with James Allen rounding out the top three.

Taddy

In the AM race Mark Housen rode a stormer to win the Sportsman Vets group on seven laps with Alex Owen a lap further back in second, while Darren Skillin would round out the podium in third.

On the other end of the age scale in the Youth group, Brandon Burns racked up 5 solid laps for the win, as did second placed Jacob Wilson, Ashton Brightmore in thrid and Cynan Jones in fourth.

Dean Harrison = British Superbike & Road Racer

Scott Hipwell led the big Sportsman line up, taking the number spot by a full lap over Ben Tennant and Richard Banks in second and third.
