Next up on the ‘Torq Moto show driven by Talon’ is former multiple British champion and factory Kawasaki and Honda world championship racer Billy MacKenzie.
Billy doesn’t hold back in this two-part episode three of the new podcast show with hosts DocWobs and ‘Jeffro’ Perrett. Affectional known as ‘Billy Mac’, the proud Scot has always worn his heart on his sleeve throughout his illustrious career and he’s never been afraid to say it how he sees it. With his professional career now firmly in the history books Billy looks back and talks about how it all started, his relationship with his father ‘Big Bill’, the rivalry with fellow Scot Stephen Sword, playing the ‘bad boy’, the influence Australia has had on him and the highs and lows of an always entertaining life as a professional motocross racer.
In fact, that appeared to be just the tip of the iceberg and there was so much that was left unsaid that Billy will be returning to the studio for a future episode to chat some more about his memories, his take on the current crop of motocross stars and where he feels the sport is at.
