Billy Bolt’s Super Enduro… In for Arenacross Festival!

Multiple enduro World Champion Billy Bolt is the latest headlining rider set to take part in the first-ever Arenacross Festival this summer.

The 25-year-old reigning, three-time FIM SuperEnduro World Champion and 2021 FIM Hard Enduro World Champion from Wallsend, North Tyneside will head to Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire from 15 – 17 September for the brand-new event.

Billy will take part in the pro SuperEnduro class, which has been added to the festival’s schedule. He’ll be working with Arenacross Festival ambassador Tommy Searle and Ed Warren to design a brand new, unique challenge – a combined Arenacross and SuperEnduro track, something the sport has never seen before.

Matt Bates, Event Promoter and Bolesworth Events Managing Director said: “The momentum the Arenacross Festival has gained in the past seven days is incredible.

“This is going to be a rare chance for British off-road fans to get to see Billy race a world class Super Enduro in the UK; what better place to do it than in the stunning surroundings of Bolesworth at the first-ever festival designed for motocross and off-road fans!”

Billy Bolt said: “The venue and the whole idea looks pretty epic really, so it was a no-brainer when Matt asked me if I wanted to create an all-new SuperEnduro track and race… you never know, I might even throw-down the challenge for Tommy to race the Enduro and I race Arenacross! It’ll be a pretty rare opportunity for Pro and Clubman riders to race SuperEnduro too.”

The Arenacross Festival is a brand-new event for 2023. Celebrating the success of the indoor motocross racing series Arenacross, AXFest will feature three days and two nights of world-class motocross racing and FMX displays in the amphitheatre-style International Arena, where an epic track will be built using over 5,000 tons of dirt!

The festival experience will include onsite camping (Friday and Saturday night), family fun including funfair, live shows, bike experiences, a huge range of food and drink options by day, plus a live music stage with bands and DJs kicking off at night when the sport finishes… all at one of the country’s most spectacular venues: Bolesworth Castle, eight miles south of Chester off the A41.
