Saturday’s race action will see the Pro MX1 and MX2 classes taking to the track alongside the ACU Two Stroke Festival British 125 class.

The racing will continue on Sunday, with the Clubman, Amateur and Honda Cup classes taking centre stage.

In Pro MX1, it’s been a Crendon Tru7 Honda dominance with their riders Conrad Mewse and Taylor Hammal filling the top two spaces in the championship, with Mewse going unbeaten in the six moto’s so far contested. Hammal is 26 points behind his teammate and holds a further 24-point advantage over the experienced Apico Honda rider Martin Barr, who has a string of riders looking to close in on the podium position, including Dirt Store Kawasaki’s Jamie Carpenter, another Apico Honda rider Tom Grimshaw and the inform SC Sporthomes Husqvarna rider Tristan Purdon. Other riders who could throw themselves into the mix are John Adamson, Jason Meara, Dan Thornhill, Brad Todd and Stu Edmonds.

The Pro MX2 class is a clear-cut two-way dual between Dirt Store Kawasaki teammates Tommy Searle and Joel Rizzi. So far, TS100 has the upper hand, having 1 and 3, but young Rizzi was the victor at Round 2. Brookthrope will act as neutral ground as these two are set to duke it out once more for Fastest 40 glory.

Third position in the championship is currently held by the talented ASA United GasGas young gun Ben Mustoe, but he is a whopping 53 points behind Rizzi in second and who has a whole freight train of riders within fifteen points of him, including Howard Wainwright, Ben Franklin, Jamie Wainwright, Josh Coleman, Ty Westcott, Charlie Heyman and Mckenenzie Marshall.  Other riders certain to be at the sharp end are Dylan Walsh, Glenn McCormick, Liam Garland, James Mackeral, and local Josh Waterman.

The 125cc class has served up some top-notch action, with Matt Bayliss leading the charge in the Adults and Josh Vail and Jamie Keith going hard at it at the top of the standings in the Youth.

Scott Aldridge has rattled off six moto wins in a row to hold the Amateuer MX1 red plate, while Harrison Greenough has a 16-point lead over Charlie Hamlet in Amateuer MX2.

Harry Fletcher is looking to put the hammer down and eke out a lead in Clubman MX1, but he has round 3 winner Matt Dowes snapping at his heels. Richard Roberts will be keen to stretch his 32-point advantage out even further in the Clubman MX2 category.

The Honda Cup racers will be joined by Arenacross and Supercross specialist Dylan Woodcock, but he won’t have any say in the title’s whereabouts. At the moment, it’s a close call between three riders. Howard Wainwright is currently sitting on top of the pile with 197 points, 7 ahead of Henry Williams, and Adam Chatfield is a further 8 behind.
