Bawn to win! WOR Events WES Championship Round 9 – Rundown & Results

The latest WOR Event to hit the roadshow was at an incredible new venue in Leominster last weekend for their WES Championship Round 9 for the Adults and Kids and Round 5 for the Autos.

The Course was super well received for both days, and the event was another great atmosphere all around…

DUST, however, was a major problem, and it made Sunday’s adult race difficult, to say the least… The baked hard ground the UK is currently suffering from was evident, and these events are now crying out for some wet stuff to fall. The same over the UK and more so for the poor farmers that are struggling to feed livestock and the like.

The main race was cut to 2hrs for all riders by Race Boss, Steve, mainly to stop the dust inhalation as it was blowing clear in most places to see the track.

Horrendous conditions, to say the least, though and well done to all riders that took part ..really was a fast, furious and challenging 2 hr Hare and Hounds Enduro Race.

The BIG winners were TOMMY ROWAN in the Autos .. SONNY IRELAND in the Juniors (taking first-ever overall- proud moment) and DEREK BAWN taking the overall in the adults…
