Arenacross® Announce 2025 World Tour Championship

After another epic and history making championship in 2024, Arenacross are excited to announce the ‘Arenacross World Tour’ for 2025!

Starting in the Christmas and New Year holidays, the all-new AXWT will kick off for the first time on January 4th at the newly-named BP Pulse Arena, Birmingham, UK, with all further championship races qualifying the fastest 20 riders to the richest race in Arenacross history – The Abu Dhabi Arenacross World Tour Finals

Over the last 10 years over half-million fans have witnessed some of the most intense motorcycle racing to ever take place in the UK and arguably on the planet. Add in a generous amount of FMX action, Lazers, pyrotechnics and a kicking selection of music, it’s no wonder Arenacross has sold-out the UK’s biggest concert venues for over a decade.

Now it’s time for Arenacross to spread its wings and extend the series out of the UK where the state-of-the-art Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi (which is home to the annual Formula One finale), will host the final round of the tour on April 26th with the biggest prize purse in the history of Arenacross.

Arenacross CEO, Matt Bates commented: “I’m proud to announce that our decade of hard work is being rewarded with international expansion. Our plans mean that we want our season of Arenacross to stretch into a longer period by 2027, so whilst not every weekend will have an event in 2025, these open dates will become busier as we grow the championship and take Arenacross to more international venues over the next three years. I also believe that, like the US market, it’s important that our British indoor and outdoor motocross championships connect in some way and look forward to discussing this with the ACU”.

“So, at a time where a great night out is as important as the sport we love to watch, my aim is to create the ultimate season-ending “must-visit” World Tour Final event in an incredible location – Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, where this amazing destination has something for every family and motorsport fan on the planet”.

For 2025 there will be two Arenacross championships – the ‘British’ and ‘World Tour Championship’. The British championship will be fought out at all races staged within the British Isles, whilst the AXWT also includes all races that take place outside of the UK.
