All the B’s – Belgium Bank Holiday in Balen with Ben – Chambers Racing Keiheuvel international Motocross Report

Chambers Racing rider Ben Franklin took the trip over to Balen, Belgium for the annual Bank holiday- Keiheuvel international

With an absolutely stacked list of MXGP riders in the 250 and 450 classes, it looked set to be an exciting day of racing.

Ben would be taking part in the inters 250’s with the likes of Everts, The Cohen brothers and Eric Elzinga. First moto Ben was making strong progress but unfortunately due to a goggle malfunction dropped to 16th whilst trying to dodge the Belgium Sand.

Moto 2 was a much better and issue-free race. With the 21 minutes + 1 lap moto progressing, Ben proved to be strong and in the mix, crossing the line in a brilliantly deserved 10th. Giving him 13th Overall.

Having this result Ben secured his place in the super final which combined 450/250. With the 450s consisting of the likes of, Febvre, Herlings & Pauls Jonass.

Ben took to the final race with good pace amongst the pack and on an extremely rough sand track he crossed the finished flag in 8th out of the 250’s.

Overall Ben rode a brilliant 3 races despite the first race issues. Which proves his strong capabilities and strengths on the sand tracks.
