ACU British GT140 Championship Introduced for 2022

ACU British GT140 Championship

Due to the ever-increasing support in respect of the above competition class that has evolved over the last 3 seasons since its introduction, the ACU and Track Racing Committee would like to announce the introduction of a British Championship for the GT140’s in 2022.

The Championship will take the form of a final run by the Helsby and District Junior Grasstrack Club on Saturday 9th of July alongside the National Youth Championships, with a selected number of seeded riders.

A GT140 qualifier will be run by the Fenland club on Saturday the 21st of May where the remainder of the riders for the final will be selected.

TRC member Shaun Harvey , one key driving forces behind the growth of the class said, “We would like to thank the clubs involved for hosting these events for this class and helping it further progress into what we expect to produce an exciting closely fought first ever British Championship.”

This format will incorporate approximately 50 riders for this ever-growing class.
