Tom Vialle of Team France stormed to the MX2 Qualifying race win at the 2024 Motocross of Nations at Matterley Basin, although he did have to overcome an onslaught from Belgian rider Lucas Coenen, who fell while trying to pass the Frenchman in the latter stages of the race having reeled in a big gap.
Team Netherlands racer Kay de Wolf also fell while pushing forward with Coenen and had to settle for fourth position behind German rider Simon Laengerfelder, who worked his way up to third, and Team GB’s Max Anstie, who had the crowd cheering with a superb fourth.
