Freeman & Watson end 2024 World Enduro Championship with E3 title and second in E2 for Beta

The picturesque setting of Brioude, France, hosted the seventh and final round of the FIM EnduroGP 2024 World Championship on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September. The highly technical and demanding race tested the riders on an authentic French enduro track, with a total length of 75km, which kicked off on Friday with the standard Super Test.

The track consisted of three different tests, which had to be repeated three times: a Cross Test, 5.4 km long, held in fields and undergrowth; an Enduro Test, 6.8 km long, characterised by soft and muddy ground, made especially difficult by roots; and a 1.8 km Extreme Test, mostly natural but with some artificial sections.

On Saturday, Brad Freeman took the Title of World Champion in the E3 Class for the 10th time. The British rider succeeded in the feat, despite a zero at the first GP of the season in Portugal. Over the weekend, Brad ruled the E3 class, winning both days of racing, and also performed well in the EnduroGP class, where he finished with a good 4th position on Saturday and an excellent 1st position on Sunday.

An unlucky weekend for Nathan Watson who, due to a mistake in the Super Test and a crash on the last special stage on Saturday, received two zeros in the standings. Nevertheless, Nathan finished the Championship with a good 3rd position in the E2 Class.

Also worth mentioning is the good racing season of the Beta OX Moto Team riders: Theo Espinasse who finished the Championship in 4th position in the E1 Class, Leo Joyon 3rd in the Junior 1 Class, and Alix Antoine 3rd in Junior 2. Also in the Junior 2 Class was Matej Skuta, who finished 4th in the Championship. In the Youth Class, Clauzier Clement of the Atomic Moto Team finished 4th. Tim Apolle ended the Championship 4th in the Open 2s Class.

The French round brings the Enduro World Championship 2024 to its conclusion, giving the fans appointment for the next season.
