Luke Gardner went unbeaten in the Flat Track class but it wasn’t enough to take the title away from Jack Bell who would win the championship even though he was absent using this round as his dropped one. Gardner would finish four points off of Bell at the end of the series with Terry Pywell third after finishing second in the finale.
In the Street Trackers Luke Potter and Archie Jeeves went at it to take the Final round spoils with Jeeves ending the day with the victory in the final over Potter and Mick Shaw. The Championship title though would go the way of Max Jackman who won 4 out of the 5 rounds he raced in.
Over in the Super Comp class, Gary Inman was in fine form and won three heat races and the final over Robin Brown and Luke Potter, but it was Brown who was victorious and who took the title after the six hotly contested rounds.
Odgie Danann made it a Vintage Flat Track clean sweep making it six from six and thus taking the title.
Archie Jeeves hammered in some great rides in the Inappropriate class to win the round and the title although Scott Jeeves came good in the final.
In the MX class Jonathan Dowd continued his dominance, taking maximum points, the final and the title. Luke Potter was second in the final with Adam Nichols third.
Jon Dyer in the Minibikes rattled off five heat wins and notched another in the final over eventual champion Gavin Lee and Ben Bell. The title though would go the way of James Woodruffe who had a fantastic season.
In the Pitbike category, Neil Mcdermott and Terry Pywell shared the chequers with McDermott number one in the final over Pyewell and James Bowles. Jack Bell though would claim the title adding that to his Flat Track crown.
A couple of non starts for Jaime Kimber hampered her progress in the Ladies class but she came good when it mattered in the final to win out over triple heat winner Erin Dyer and Rachel Pledge who would be crowned the champion by just one point over Jackie Bally.
Wyatt Hopkins was in stunning form in Junior two and maxed out in both the heats and the final on his way to the title which he also nailed with a full house. Alfie Croft was second in the final and Ryan Ingram was third.
Talking of Ryan Ingram he hammered home every victory he could in Junior 2 on his way to the title, fending off Mya Harris and Charlie Dowd in the final.
On 14th November the Winter Series begins with eight rounds planned. Of course, some maybe lost to the weather but if they all take place then it will be a rider’s top six scores that count. If 4-7 rounds take place then one round can be dropped.
Places can be booked by texting Richard Hollingsworth on 07832-402167 and, with the continual expansion of the sport, they are expecting to be busier than ever.
