One of the UK’s most solid British Championship campaigners has announced that he is once more flying solo for 2024. Cumbrian charger Brad Todd has been putting his #714 machine into the top ten of the British Championship ever since the restart from Covid, with 9th in 2021, 6th in 2022, and 8th in the 2023 ACU British Championship.

He has also put in some sterling rides north of the border, finishing 3rd in this year’s Scottish Championship and enjoying a comparatively low level of travelling for that series!
Despite these solid results, and great showings at the VMXdN Foxhill Wright Engineering Race, the Apico Two-Stroke Festival, and several other series, he has again been overlooked by the major teams for the new year. Here is his social media announcement on his 2024 plans:
“So my plans for 2024 aren’t really much different. It’s looking like I’ll be running my own thing again. I’ll be racing in similar championships and hopefully a couple more if I can get some funding put together over the winter.
It’s been a good eye opener for me this year. Obviously this season I decided I was going to ride again in February with under a months preparation. So this time around I would like to think I can be a lot more organised with everything
I’ll stay on the same bike as I can keep alot of parts for 24. The only thing I’ll be changing next season is my preparation and hopefully the results will follow.
If I didn’t feel I can achieve something in this sport, I would be calling it quits. But I don’t want to be that old guy sat in the pub saying what he could of been if he had this, that or the other..
So I’m sure your sick of hearing it by now.. Anyone wanting a logo on the bike, helmet, kit or van… Give me a shout.
Appreciate everyone’s support this season! THANK YOU!”
