2024 Scottish Cup Motocross to be held in August.

The 2024 Scottish Cup will be held on Saturday the 17th of August at the spectacular circuit of Doune just north west of Stirling.

Words & Images: Scottish Motocross Championship Press Release

The one day event sees classes combined between the SW and BW 85cc classes, the Youth 125cc and Youth 250cc classes and the MX1 and MX2 classes.

Inspired by the Motocross of Nations format where smaller bikes have the chance to beat the more powerful bikes this once a year event will surely throw up some surprises as younger riders can compete against their older rivals.

The top 17 riders in each class after 5 rounds of the Scottish Championship will automatically qualify for entries which open on July the 28th 2024. The remaining spots will be available to wildcard entrants one week before the event.

The two moto format will see longer races more common to elite level racing in Europe. Cheap entries and big prizes should ensure the event is one for every fan’s diary.
